Ce groupe est composé de quatre personnes qui sont des cohabitantes. La représentante du groupe, du nom de Émilienne(celle qui a la main levée sur la photo)est âgée de 58 ans. Émilienne n'a pas fréquenté l’école. Émilienne est mariée à un certain Désiré. Le couple a quatre enfants, tous scolarisés et deux à leur charge. Émilienne vit avec son mari et ses enfants. Émilienne et son mari assurent ensemble les charges familiales. Pour ce faire, Émilienne vend des vivres(maïs)par la méthode de distribution depuis environ une année. Émilienne s’approvisionne dans un marché du Bénin. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle et pour accroître son chiffre d’affaires et son revenu, Émilienne sollicite ensemble avec les autres membres du groupe, un deuxième crédit auprès de ALIDé. Le prêt antérieur a été bien remboursé.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000.
