Amadou Lamine lives in Senegal, and is a father. He has worked in the fishing sector for more than ten years. The income he obtains from his business allows him to contribute to paying the household expenses. He is a member of a branch of U-IMCEC, and has requested a loan of 600,000 francs CFA so that he can make a canoe for his fishing business. He plans to improve his business and to increase his income. This will allow him to have more savings, as well as to give his family access to better food. Amadou Lamine would like to have other canoes and pieces of fishing equipment, so that he can develop his business even more.
This loan is administered by UIMCEC, a Kiva Field Partner in Senegal since 2008.
