Agrace is 42 years old and married with three children, all of whom attend school. She acquired a loan of UGX 3,000,000 to buy mulch for her banana and pineapple plantations. She has a banana plantation and grows pineapples at Kasozi. She has a retail shop business where she gets some additional income. Her business started in 1990 with challenges but as of now, it has stabilized and she can get an income to support her family and pay school fees for her children at the university. Her clients are people from both the village and the town. She hopes to expand her business to meet the ever-growing market for the products. She is a committed woman, hardworking and social. She thanks the bank for the continuous support they have given her to increase her business and sustain the family.

This loan is part of UGAFODE's green loan program, giving Ugandan farmers the support they need to grow and process organic fruits and vegetables. Funds will be used to obtain critical resources like processing equipment, mulch and organic seedlings to reduce waste water contamination and improve consumer health.
