Irene is a second time borrower of Ugafode Microfinance Ltd applying for UGX 500,000. She is a single mother of two children who stay with her in a single room rented in the outskirts of the city. She depends on her boutique business and a phone accessories shop as her sources of income. Her major challenge is small capital that makes customers go away without the goods they need.
The purpose of the loan is to boost her business by buying more stock of used clothing to give a new face to her old stock. The new stock will attract customers and therefore increase her sales. It's one of the routes to her dream of a big shop which will enable her to meet the basic needs of her children.
