Svetlana
Svetlana lives in the village of Zovaber, which is in the Sevan area. She is engaged on her own in farming and agriculture. She has two cows, one heifer, one pig, six sheep, four lambs and six chickens. She also cultivates some greens and potatoes on her own plot of land. Svetlana does all this by herself, since her husband works abroad in the Russian Federation. She lives with her retired mother-in -law, her son who sometimes helps Svetlana around the farm, and her daughter who recently got married and lives separately with her own family. Svetlana has never been employed anywhere and, since getting married, she has been engaged in farming. Svetlana has plans to build a barn for her cattle, and she also wants to buy a lot of fodder for the farm animals. She needs 1,000,000 AMD (Armenian drams) to start her building activities. This is Svetlana’s first deal with Kiva, and she very much hopes that her expectations will be fulfilled.
