Catherine is 35 years old, married, and she supports a family of two. She runs M-PESA (Mobile-money services) and cosmetic sales business in Kapsabet town.This has been her income generating business for the last five years, and she gets an average monthly income of KES. 50,000.
She has borrowed a loan of KES. 120,000, this being her fourth loan from KADET LTD, and with this loan she intends to purchase different types of cosmetics to stock her business. She anticipates getting profit which she will use to expand her business by increasing the items in her cosmetics shop and also increasing her business float for mobile money services to meet her clients' demand and needs.
Catherine hopes to improve her living standards and be financially stable. She also hopes to save money to enable her to pay school fees for her children as well as expand her business to other towns.
