Marieta
Marieta and her husband live in the village of Lchacshen, which is in Gegharkunik area. Both of them are engaged in farming and agriculture. They have a plot of private land where they cultivate carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers and some greens. Their farm is not a very big one; they keep three cows, three calves and twenty chickens. All these they manage to care for while working at other jobs. Marieta works at the Building Department as an engineer. Marieta’s husband also works; he has a small vegetable trading business in the city Sevan. For many years,Marieta and her husband have worked very hard day and night in order to have their own farm and another source of income for their family.
Marieta is asking for a loan of 1,000,000 AMD to enlarge her farm cattle; she wants to buy two cows, six piglets and ten sheep, as well as some fodder for animals. It is Marieta’s first deal with Kiva lenders and she hopes that she has found the perfect partner to support her in her business.
