Carlos is a young man of 19 years. He lives in the city of Ica with his wife and in-laws, to whom is is grateful for all of their support. Carlos is a very friendly, hardworking, and enthusiastic person who puts all his effort into succeeding. Unfortunately, because of lack of resources and because he needs to work, Carlos has not been able to study for a professional career in mechanical engineering they way he wants. In his free time, he likes to make desserts to share with his family.

Of his own initiative and with great tenacity and dedication, Carlos works as a field-hand on a farm in his city. He does work such as plowing, planting, harvesting, etc. Carlos works every day from the very early hours of the morning, and he is able to keep this up for approximately 10 hours. He is pleased to work, and he believes that he is doing well because of his good performance and because he treats those around him with friendliness.

Carlos is very grateful to the Kiva lenders, because thanks to the help given, he will be able to cover the paperwork-processing costs for obtaining the property title to a small piece of land, which is destined for building his home upon it. Therefore, Carlos will continue to work and exert himself to achieve his greatest dream of having a stable and suitable home.

Carlos es un joven de 19 años, vive en la ciudad de Ica con su esposa y suegros, a quienes agradece a todo su apoyo, Carlos es una persona muy amable, trabajador y entusiasta, que dedica todos sus esfuerzos por salir adelante; lamentablemente por falta de recursos económicos y por la necesidad de trabajar, Carlos no ha podido estudiar la carrera profesional de Ingeniería Mecánica que desea, en sus ratos libres le gusta preparar postres para compartir con su familia.
Por iniciativa propia, con mucho empeño y dedicación, Carlos trabaja como obrero de campo en un fundo agrícola de su ciudad, el realiza labores de arado, sembrado, cosecha y otros, Carlos trabaja todos los días desde tempranas horas de la mañana y puede hacerlo por un aproximado de 10 horas, el se siente a gusto realizando su labor y cree que le va bien por su buen desempeño y por el trato amable que brinda a los demás.
Carlos se encuentra muy agradecido con los prestamistas Kiva, ya que gracias a la ayuda brindada podrá cubrir los gastos del tramite documentario para la obtención del título de propiedad de un pequeño terreno, el cual será destinado para la construcción de su vivienda, así pues Carlos seguirá trabajando y esforzándose para lograr su gran sueño de tener una vivienda segura y adecuada.
