Sherry began displaying art for the citizens of Knoxville, Tennessee more than seven months ago. Sherry’s goal was to enable visitors to not only understand the art displayed, but also to generate group discussions about the pieces. Sherry believes bringing culture into one’s valuable leisure time is both beneficial and supports the initiative of the Nuance gallery—hence her business name, Gallery Nuance.

Sherry discovered Accion Texas Inc. at an external workshop and inquired about applying for a loan for the gallery. After applying and receiving her Accion loan, she was able to replace and purchase updated track lighting for the gallery. The lighting within the gallery is critical to showcase the art and emphasize its beauty. Sherry would not have been able to replace the existing track lighting without her Accion loan she says.

Sherry will continue to provide a friendly team environment that together learn about each other and gain access to art and culture. Find out more about her business on her website here:
