Alice is 61 years old. She is from Bukhungu location in Vihiga County, which is located in the western part of Kenya. She is married to Mulaku, who is a farmer and also supports the family by providing income. Alice supports seven people in her family and has three children who are, 24, 16, and 14 years old respectively.
Alice sells secondhand clothes. She has been doing this for the last ten years and makes a monthly income of KES. 9,000. She has applied for her fifth loan from KADET LTD, which she will use to purchase more bales of secondhand clothes. She will use the anticipated profit to plow back into her business.
Her dream is to open a boutique shop and to build a decent house for her family.
