Anne is a married woman and has been blessed with six kids who attend school. She lives at her own house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is school fees.
She operates a poultry-selling business, which has been operational for over 12 years. She mentioned disease outbreak causing losses as a challenge in the business. She dreams of becoming a wholesaler of poultry in the future.
With the KES 25,000 she wants to purchase chicks and poultry feeds. She joined Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
