Lan is requesting a 5,014,000 VND loan to buy food for chickens. This is her first loan with SEDA and she is a member of a loan group. Lan will use the profits from her loan to buy computers for her children.
Other members of Lan’s group include: 51-year-old Duyen, a farmer who wants to borrow 9,810,000 VND to breed chickens; 56-year-old Nguyen who wants to borrow 5,014,000 VND to breed chickens and pigs; 33-year-old Lien is 33 who wants to borrow 9,810,000 VND to develop her work selling scrap metals; and 50-year-old Tan who wants to borrow 9,810,000 VND to develop her egg-selling business.
