Zef is a villager from the rural north who has raised six children with his wife. He is in his late sixties but according to him, the physical work he and his wife have been doing from a young age and the fresh air they have been breathing, have kept them strong and healthy. “I come from a persecuted family and like the rest of my immediate and extended family, we truly suffered under the previous regime, but thanks God, for the freedom we found during these past years since the democracy. We are very grateful," Zef added. He works raising livestock.
Zef is requesting a 200,000 ALL loan to help build a new stable. His current stable, seen in the background of this photograph, doesn't look like a stable, according to Zef. He adds, "it is only covered with some cardboards and that’s it. It is very cold for the animals to stay in it during the cold and snowy winters, and way too hot in the summer. Staying and sleeping in a new and spacey stable, animals will love it,” Zef continued.
