Halima is a married woman with children, all of whom attend school. She rents a house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family and school fees for the children.
For the past two years, she has operated a charcoal selling business. She sells from her home to her neighbours and passersby. Her major challenge in the business is the high cost of transportation. With the loan she is requesting, she wants to purchase 6 bags of charcoal for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
