Gertrudis
Gertrudis raises cattle for the production of milk, which she sells in her community at retail price. Her husband works as a master bricklayer in the city of El Alto. She lives in her own house along with her daughter. Her house is located I the community of Kasa Santa Rosa, in the Gauqui sector of the province of Ingavi, in the department of La Paz, three and half hours from the city of La Paz. She has a few head of improved breed cattle, which require a lot of care due to the climate of the sector.

She needs the loan to buy construction materials: cement, bricks, etc. With this she will be able to repair the stable for the cattle so that she can improve their production by improving their health. The health of the cows is very important to the production of better quality milk.

Gertudis’ dream is to increase her number of cattle by taking good care of their health.

This is the first time she has requested a loan with IMPRO and also the first time with Kiva.

Gertrudis se dedica a la cria de ganado vacuno para la producción de leche la cual vende dentro de su comunidad al por menor; su esposo trabaja como maestro albañil en la ciudad de el Alto, Vive en casa propia con su hija. Su domicilio está ubicado en la comunidad de Kasa Santa Rosa, del Sector Guaqui de La provincia Ingavi del Departamento de La Paz a tres horas y media de distancia de la ciudad de La Paz; cuenta con algunas cabezas de ganado de raza mejorada las cuales requieren mejor cuidado dada las condiciones climatológicas del sector.

El crédito requiere para comprar material de construcción: cemento, ladrillos, etc. Así podrá refaccionar el establo para ganado, por lo tanto mejorar su producción, conservando la buena salud de sus vacas. La salud de las vacas es muy importante para que la producción de leche sea de mejor calidad.

El sueño de Gertrudis, es incrementar sus cabezas de ganado, precautelando la buena salud de ellos.

Es la primera vez que solicita crédito junto a IMPRO y la primera vez con KIVA.
