Mishi is from Likoni, Kenya. She works selling fruits and vegetables in a little shed at the entrance to the city.
With sacrifice and dedication she has managed to improve the lives of her three children, with the help of her husband. She is a very hardworking woman. She says she has always worked and that she is not afraid of challenges. Her goal is to be able to continue growing her business and have a bigger shed to continue helping her family and her husband.
Mishi is coming to Yehu Microfinance and to Kiva to buy vegetables such as tomatoes, green peppers, carrots, and onions as well as seasonal fruit to be able to supply her business with top quality products.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
