Bintihamisi is a single woman who has been working as a street vendor, selling clothes and shoes for women, men, and children since 2012. She has an established clientele.
Bintihamisi is requesting a loan to purchase jeans, clothes for men and women, and uniforms for elementary and high school students. Her major business challenge is seasonality. Bintihamisi dreams of expanding her business and become self-reliant in the future.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
