The seven members of the NOUPAGAGNON E group are married women. They are of an average age of 46 years old with three children and all live in traditional families in Kolokoba, one of the villages in the third administrative region of Mali (Sikasso).
They collaborate with the micro finance institution Soro Yiriwaso in order to manage their agricultural activities during the wintering.
This is their seventh loan for agricultural activities from the institution and all the previous loans have been repaid correctly.
The crops that they cultivate are among other things, groundnuts, rice, corn, and chili as in the case of Niogo who is the first person on the left in the photo sitting down. With her loan she plans to buy products for the earth and pay labour costs for the upkeep of 1 hectare.
The crop is sold in the village after the harvest to a masculine and feminine clientele.
They hope to make an average profit of 175 000FCFA per plot of land.
This profit will enable her to repay her loan and help her husband with daily expenses.

Elles collaborent avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso afin de mener à bien leurs activités agricoles pendant l’hivernage.
Elles sont à leur septième prêt de campagne agricole avec l’institution et tous les prêts précédents ont été correctement remboursés.
Les spéculations cultivées sont entre autre l’arachide, le riz, le mais et le piment avec NIOGO 1ère personne à gauche de la photo position assise, Avec son prêt, elle compte acheter des intrants et payer les frais de labours pour entretenir 1 hectare.
La production est vendue au niveau du village après la récolte à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes.
Elle compte réaliser un bénéfice moyen de 175 000FCFA par campagne.
Ce bénéfice lui permettra de payer son prêt et aussi d’aider son mari dans les dépenses quotidiennes.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
