Meet 37-year-old Rugiatu from Port Loko in the Northern area of Sierra Leone. She is married with 4 children between the ages of 10 years and 22 years. Three of her children are currently attending school.
In 2003, Rugiatu established her pharmacy business. She began her business because she wanted to help her community through medical care. She works at the business 7 days per week and 15 hours per day. She says that the main challenge to her business is the expiration of drugs.
Rugiatu requires a loan in order to buy medicinal drugs. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to take good care of her family. In the future, she plans to build a clinic. She thanks you for your support.
