Meet 33-year-old Fanta from Jui eastern area in Sierra Leone. She is widowed with three children between the ages of seven and 13 years. For the past 10 years, Fanta has had her plastic slipper business. She began her business because she wants to improve her standard of living. She works at the business 12 hours per day, seven days per week. She says that the main challenges to her business are price fluctuations and transportation costs.
Fanta requires a loan in order to purchase more plastic slippers for resale. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to repay her loan and increase her business. In the future, Fanta plans to expand her business more than ever. She thanks you for your support.
