Sarah is 25 years old and single with one child, age 6. She runs a plastic business in Jui, an eastern area in Freetown. She started this work because she was trained in the business. She’s been in the business for more than 11 years and sells plastic in a busy market area. She says that the main challenges for her business are price increases and the low purchasing power of customers during the dry season.
Sarah requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more plastic to expand her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help her expand her business and improve her standard of living. In the future, she would like to expand her business to a higher level. She is grateful for your support.
