Mariana Auxiliadora
The members of the “Dulce Amistad” (Sweet Friendship) communal bank meet in Rocafuerte Canton every fifteen days. This place is known for the delicious sweets locals, who are known for being warm-hearted, kind and hardworking, make that are famous throughout the country.

She works every day from 7am until 8pm; her daughter helps her with the business when she’s not otherwise occupied. She’s had her business for more than 14 years now and it has brought her much satisfaction.

This loan is to buy foodstuffs and housewares to stock her store. She’s a founding member of the communal bank and she likes it because the loans have helped her much. Her dream is to continue working and that the business grows more.

En el cantón Rocafuerte se reúnen cada quince días las socias del Banco Comunal Dulce Amistad. Este lugar se lo conoce por los deliciosos dulces que preparan los lugareños que son reconocidos en todo el país y por la calidez de su gente amable y trabajadora.

En este lugar vive la señora Mariana, tiene 65 años de edad, está casada y no ha podido tener hijos propios pero tiene dos que crio como que si fueran de ella, ambos ya son mayores de edad y la menor estudia en la universidad, ambos aun viven con ella. Su esposo es agricultor.

Doña Mariana es una mujer muy trabajadora que le gusta salir adelante por sus propios medios, ella se dedica a al comercio, tiene una tienda de víveres en su casa, en este lugar también vende electrodomésticos y productos de bazar, trabaja todos los días desde las 7h00 hasta las 20h00 y su hija le ayuda en su negocio cuando está desocupada. Tiene su negocio ya por más de 14 años, el mismo que le ha dado muchas satisfacciones.

Este crédito es para comprar víveres para surtir su tienda y ciertos artículos de bazar. Es socia fundadora del Banco comunal y le gusta porque los créditos le han ayudado mucho.

Sus sueños son seguir trabajando y que crezca más su negocio.
