Communal bank ”Rubi” will start its seventh cycle with Pro Mujer, as a part of the Focal Center of Collpani. It has nine members, and is directed by a board of which Martha is the president. They all have different lines of work: baking, a grocery store, selling food, making aprons, knitting sweaters, sewing skirts, and selling creams.

This loan will help small entrepreneurs such as Martha. She says that she has been a member of Pro Mujer for five years. She was invited by a friend who is also a member. Martha currently sells plastic items, a business she started with a loan she received from Pro Mujer, following her friends’ advice.

With this loan, Martha will buy more plastic items at the fairs in the city of Oruro. After processing them, she will sell them in her establishment. With this activity she generates resources to support her family. She is married and has three daughters.

She says that what she likes the most about Pro Mujer is the good service that the staff at the loans division gives her.

La A.C. “RUBI” iniciará el décimo séptimo ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Collpani, está compuesta por nueve integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Martha es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: pastelería, tienda de barrio, venta de comida, producción de mandiles, tejido de chompas, costura de polleras, venta de cremas.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Martha es integrante, ella indica que hace cinco años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una amiga que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de plásticos; este negocio lo emprendió con el préstamo que saco en Pro Mujer por recomendación de unas amigas.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de plásticos) que adquirirá de las ferias de la ciudad de Oruro y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella es casada y tiene tres hijas.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gustan la atención del personal de crédito.
