The 'Amenecer' Community Bank will begin its fifteenth loan cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Cascada regional group. It is composed of nine members with a Board of Directors led by President Sra. Silvia. The members have a variety of businesses: stationery sales, neighbourhood store, street seller, food sales, parka and overall sales, clothing sales, and macramé.

The loan that the group is seeking will benefit these small businesswomen such as Silvia. She notes that she has been with Pro Mujer for fourteen loan cycles and joined the group at the invitation of her mother who is a member. Currently she has a business selling stencils and pictures, a job she took on when her uncle needed someone to sell these items. Later she became independent using some of her own capital.

The current loan money will be used to buy more pictures from the galleries in La Paz and then sold on her stall. The money she earns will help pay for her studies as she is single.

When Silvia is asked what she most likes about Pro Mujer, she responds that is the health classes.

La A.C. “AMANECER” iniciará el décimo quinto ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Cascada, está compuesta por nueve integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Silvia es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: librería, tienda de barrio, mercachifles, venta de comida, venta de parcas y overoles, venta de ropa, macrame.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Silvia es integrante, ella indica que hace catorce ciclos que Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de su madre que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de plantillas y cuadros; cuenta que este negocio lo emprendió por la necesidad que tenía su tío de una vendedora de cuadros, posteriormente decide ser independiente con un poco capital que tenía.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de cuadros) que adquirirá de las galerías de La Paz y posteriormente lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para sus estudios, pues ella es soltera.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud.
