Norma Suyapa
Norma is a young mother of two children attending school. She’s in a common law relationship and is only 29-years-old. She completed primary school having attended up to 6th grade. She works growing and producing coffee since her parents taught her at a young age how to grow it; it was a family tradition and its sole source of income. Now it’s hers too. The land she and her spouse work is an inheritance from her parents who she thanks for the support they’ve provided for her and her family throughout her life.

At present she needs help to improve her coffee crops giving them the necessary maintenance to strengthen the beans, the plants and their roots which is key to their health. Her dream is that her children attend university and obtain a degree which will be beneficial and enjoyable for them so that they will be able to face the various economic, social and cultural obstacles in life.

Norma es una joven madre de 2 hijos los cuales están en la escuela, en una relación de unión libre con tan solo 29 años de edad la cual tiene un grado de educación de primaria completo cursado hasta el 6 grado. Ella se dedica al cultivo y producción de café ya que desde muy pequeña fueron sus padres los que le enseñaron a cultivarlo por tradición familiar siendo esta actividad el único medio de ingreso en su familia y que hoy en día lo es en la de ella. El terreno que ella en compañía de su pareja trabajan es una herencia por parte de sus padres a quien ella les agradece por el apoyo brindado en su vida y para su familia.

Actualmente ella necesita ayuda para la mejora de sus cultivos de café dándoles el mantenimiento necesario para fortalecer el grano, la planta, y sus raíces que es la clave de su salud.

Su sueño es lograr que sus hijos vayan a la universidad que logren obtener un título que les sea de provecho, de su agrado y por medio de ella puedan enfrentar los diferentes obstáculos económicos, sociales y culturales de la vida.
