Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 40-year-old Kadiatu from Tombo, Western rural area. She is single with two children, ages 15 years and 25 years. One of her children is attending school.
Kadiatu runs a general stock business. She sells cigarettes, biscuits, and soft drinks within her community. She has been running this business since 2000. She works at the business ten hours per day and seven days per week. Kadiatu says that the main challenge to her business is insufficient capital to expand her business.
Kadiatu has requested a loan in order to purchase more cigarettes, biscuits, and soft drinks for resale. The extra income from this loan will allow her to educate her children and increase her business. In the future, she plans to open a big shop. She thanks you for your support.
