Ny is 48 years old. She is married and resides with three children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been working as construction worker for more than three years, earning approximately $4 daily. Her husband is a rice farmer who makes an income of $3 each day. Two of her children are employed. They earn about $9 per day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Ny is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase cattle to breed and produce calves to sell. In addition, a part of this money will be used to pay for getting a new driving license for her son.
This money will help her have the ability to run a new business and earn more income to support the family. In the future, she will expand her business and plans to rebuild her house next year.
