Living under a wooden roof located in Pursat Province, Kror Kor district, Sopheap is 51 years old and married. She has four children, one of whom is still in school. The main sources of her family income are rice cultivation and pig-raising. The current businesses earn her about 24,100 KHR per day.
Sopheap is a fifth-cycle client with VisionFund (Kiva’s partner). After the successful loans which she has repaid, she is able to earn a decent income to smoothly run her businesses, especially her pig-raising business. Now, she is seeking a new loan of 3,500,000 KHR to smooth off her farmland. She hopes to earn more income to better her lifestyle.
