Astghik is married and has two children; a five-year-old son and a two-year-old daughter. She works at the local school as a teacher of Russian language and literature. She is also giving individual paid courses in Russian language to school–aged children.
With the help of Kiva, Astghik wants to take a loan of 450.000 Armenian drams, to buy a computer and a printer and some literature for her professional needs.
