Lynorn is a single, 31-year-old citizen from the Kror Kor district of Pursat Province. From three hectares of rice cropping, he is able to earn up to 17,100 KHR per day. He has managed this business for 10 years. This is the second loan for Lynorn with VisionFund. He has utilized his past loan wisely to purchase a household appliance and maintain a good living condition for his family. He has repaid it in full. For this new cycle, he is seeking 3,000,000 KHR in order to smooth his farmland and replant his fragrant rice cultivation. He hopes that he can earn more profit and succeed in his business.
About VisionFund Cambodia
VisionFund Cambodia is a Christian organization and microfinance institution that provides small loans and other financial services to improve the lives of children, empower poor women and their families, and grow successful businesses. The organization works primarily in rural parts of Cambodia and has distinguished itself by targeting the very poor who require smaller loan sizes, regardless of religious beliefs, gender or ethnic background.
Kiva lenders’ funds will help the organization to expand into the northeastern provinces of the country, which have historically been underserved and difficult to reach with financial services.
