Antonio is not the first or only tower in his hometown of El Paso, but he plans to make Big 5 Towing different and better than his competitors.
Being innovative with his company, Antonio completes a traditional tow job -- removing cars that exceed their paid parking time, are not properly parked, or are parked in a private area. However, Antonio doesn’t stop at the traditional.
Big 5 Towing will supply fuel to clients who run out while on the road, change tires when needed, and complete other minor services on cars. He also plans to help cars that may be stuck in mud, water or anywhere else, and offer services to those too intoxicated to drive home.
With a plan in mind, Antonio was referred to Accion Texas Inc. for a loan by his friend. Once he applied and was approved, the 55-year-old was able to purchase a tow truck and begin his business. As the sole employee and owner of his business, Antonio has plans to expand and hire an employee as soon as he can.
