Marco dreams of becoming a professional. To achieve his goal, Marco has enrolled in the Universidad Autonoma Tomas Frias. He plans on graduating in December 2014, but without a loan from Vittana he thinks that he may need to take time off to work and save until he can return to school.
With the loan, Marco plans to purchasing his textbooks. Oftentimes in order to save money, textbooks are not bought. With them Marco hopes to be able to better understand his subjects. In addition to his responsibilities at school, Marco currently works 25 hours a week and earns $7 a day. With a career in business, he expects to earn $17 a day, a substantial increase from before. With two older siblings attending college already, Marco is unsure how he will be able to finance his education on his own.
