The area boasts one of the best standards of living in the county with affordable rents, good roads, access to water and lots of transportation options.
She is married and has 7 children, between 24 and 18. One is currently attending school and lives at home. She completed grade 8 before starting her business. She describes herself as a good business woman.
Marie has had a cook shop business for the past three years. She works 8 hours six days a week at her business. Her greatest challenge in business is the rainy season. She intends to use the loan to buy food ingredients such as pepper, fish, meat, vita, oil, etc. She started her business with help from her husband. She likes her business because she has many customers.
