Chanthou is 44 years old. She is married and resides with two children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in raising ducks to produce eggs to sell for more than ten years, earning approximately $25 daily. Her husband is a rice farmer who makes an income of $5 each day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Chanthou is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase more ducks for breeding. By doing so, she would earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her poultry farm and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
