Rithy is 31 years old. She is married and resides with two children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for more than three years, earning approximately $4 daily. Her husband is a construction worker who makes an income of $5 daily. In addition, he goes fishing to make more income to financially support the family.
In order to improve the fishing business, Rithy is requesting a loan of $300 to purchase a boat to use for fishing. This purchase will help him increase his fishing yield and earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to run an additional business related to animal husbandry and send her children to a good school. Currently, she is saving some money to build a new house shortly.
