Luis
Luis is married and has a son who helps to earn money for the family. They live in their own house made out of adobe with a cement floor, which has a living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The house is located in the Challapampa zone in the city of La Paz.

Currently, Luis works as a chofer, with his own bus on one of the city's bus lines. His wife also works, and she sells various products itinerantly. Both work every day of the week, and collaborate to pay for utilities, food, and clothing.

This loan is needed to buy new tires for the bus, since the route that Luis works is full of dirt and dust. Luis' dream is to be able to purchase a new bus, which would help him to improve his income and thereby his quality of life. This is the first time he is asking for a loan from IMPRO and KIVA.

Luis es casado y tiene un hijo un varón que colabora a su familia en sus actividades, viven en casa propia donde cuenta con un ambiente y se encuentra el dormitorio y la cocina, baño, la habitación es de adobe y el piso de cemento, la casa se encuentra ubicada en la zona de Challapampa de la ciudad de La Paz.
Actualmente trabaja de chofer, con movilidad propia en una de las líneas de buses de la ciudad y la esposa también ayuda en el trabajo, es comerciante ambulante. Ellos trabajan todos los días de la semana, ambos colaboran en el pago de los servicios, comida y vestimenta.
El crédito lo requiere para compra de llantas para su movilidad ya que es su única fuente de ingreso, la ruta y el recorrido están llenos de tierra y polvo.
El sueño de Luis es poder contar con nueva movilidad propia que le facilite a mejorar sus ingresos y así mejorar su calidad de vida.
Es la primera vez que solicita crédito junto a IMPRO Y KIVA.

IMPRO is a small non-profit organization that has been offering micro credit to the working poor in the Bolivian cities of La Paz and El Alto since 1995.
