Edilberto
Edilberto, 46 years old, lives in the municipality of Malambo. He is a father of three children, ages 16 - 19. In his home he has a small sewing shop, which he started in 1998. His grandmother first taught him how to sew, and he later completed a technical course in order to perfect his art. Currently, he is applying for this loan from Kiva, his first loan with the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation, in order to buy a new machine. This will improve his productivity, and help him towards his dream of prosperity. This would make his Kiva loan a success.

Edilberto de 46 años, habita en el municipio de Malambo y es padre de tres jóvenes en las edades de 16 a 19 años. Allí en su domicilio, tiene un pequeño taller de confecciones, iniciado desde el año 1998, cuando su abuela le enseñó y él adicionalmente realizó un curso técnico, para perfeccionar su arte. Edilberto gradualmente fue apasionándose por su negocio, en el que hoy en día realiza todas las operaciones de la confecciona. Su negocio tiene un potencial de crecimiento que quisiera explorar, porque su sueño es tener una infraestructura técnica con más de 15 máquinas produciendo, para continuar aumentando su calidad de vida y la de su familia. En la actualidad está aplicando a un credikiva, primer financiamiento que hace a la Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, mediante el cual comprará una máquina plana, que mejorará sus tiempos productivo, encausando su ascenso hacia el logro de su sueño de prosperidad y esto es hacer de su credikiva una inversión exitosa.
