Nimer is a 56-year-old married man living in a small village in Lebanon. The highest education he ever got was elementary school because his parents could not afford more than that, causing a great handicap throughout his life. He lives with his wife and his two children who are under 18. His wife works in the farms next to their house from sunrise till dusk. Nimer was previously working as a blacksmith, but his advancing age and his deteriorating health condition forced him to resign and to look for another means of earning income. This is how he ended up selling coffee and tea from a mobile machine, which he moves every day from one corner of the village to the other. He asked for Al Majmoua to provide a loan that would enable him to buy a new coffee maker machine that would facilitate his work. His ambition for the future is to open up his own coffee store so that he would not have to move around the village.
