Kombah is a 32-year-old woman and lives in the West Point area which has the most populated market in Montserrado County. She is married and has seven children aged between 9 and 3. They are in school and live at home.
Kombah described herself as a hardworking woman. For the past four years she has been running a market-table where she sells rice, oil, peppers, onions, etc. in the local market. She sells six days a week from 7 AM to 6 PM, and she likes her business because of the way customers buy from her. She started this business with money given to her by her husband. She uses a shared taxi every time to get her goods to her business spot.
Kombah is requesting a loan to purchase more inventory for her business. She plans to build a house for her children. She would like to say thanks to the lenders who support BRAC Liberia.
