EL Banco Comunal María Monserrate se reúne cada quince días en el Cantón Montecristi, conocido por su rica cultura pre colonial y por su artesanía que es reconocida a nivel nacional e internacional. Lugar de los famosos sombreros de paja toquilla.

En este lugar vive la señora Nancy, tiene 53 años de edad, está casada y fruto de esta relación tiene 2 hijos de 28 y 22 años de edad, el menor de ellos aun viven con ella. Su marido es albañil.

Doña Nancy es una mujer muy luchadora que al ver que su esposo no gana mucho y en ocasiones se queda sin trabajo, desde hace un año y medio y con la ayuda del primer crédito puso en su casa un negocio de venta de bebidas, ella vende aguas, sodas, cervezas, energizantes y otras bebidas, así como también ciertos bocaditos y cosas de picar, trabaja todos los días aunque los días que mas venta tiene son los fines de semana. Su hijo y su marido le ayudan cuando tienen tiempo.

Este crédito es para comprar aguas, sodas, cervezas y bocadillos. Lleva un año y medio en el Banco Comunal y le gusta porque con el primer crédito empezó su negocio el cual le permite ganar algo sacar adelante su hogar.

Su sueño es mejorar su negocio día a día.
