Aminata is 27 years old, married, and has two children, ages 2 and 9. One of her children is going to school. She runs a palm oil business in Jui in the eastern area in Freetown. She started this business because she wants to improve her family's standard of living.
She has been in this business for more than eight years and sells palm oil in a busy market area. She says that her business is currently doing well. She uses the profits to help feed her family.
Aminata requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more palm oil to expand her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help her increase her business and renovate the roof of her house. In the future, she would like to expand her business by opening a palm oil store. She is grateful for your support.
