Borin, 36, is married living with her family in a village of the Sangke district of Battambang province, Cambodia. He has three children, all of whom is dependent on him and still in school. For the last seven years, Borin and his wife have been raising pigs and distilling alcohol. The current business earns them about 50,000KHR per day to meet the family’s need but they can manage to save about 10,000KHR each day after daily expenses.
Borin’s group consists of two members and he is the sixth cycled client and completely paid back the past loans. The past loans which he successfully repaid have helped him support his family with sufficient foods. Now requesting a loan with VisionFund, Borin, who is the leader, will use his portion to buy piglets and pig feeds for nourishing them. He hopes to fatten his pigs so as to sell them for a good price to better off his living condition.
