Joelito is a 45-year-old married man from Talibon, Bohol. He has seven children. The oldest child is 24, while the youngest is 2. He is engaged in seaweed farming. He grows seaweed. Aside from seaweed farming, Joelito also engages in fishing. He sells fish, crabs and clams. He has been into fishing for more than ten years now.
He requested a loan of 5,000 PHP to buy straw and additional seaweed seedlings to improve the production of seaweed.
In the future, Joelito would like to invest in other businesses to improve their livelihood status and also to send his children to school.
