Rafik
Rafik is an engineer with work experience as a senior engineer. He is 58 years old and lives with his wife and daughter in the village of Varser, which is in the Sevan area. His wife is a famous teacher in Sevan but she is not working nowadays.

Rafik used to work as an engineer in different factories in Armenia and Russia, but after the Soviet Union collapse he became jobless and started his agricultural business. His wife engages in land cultivation and grows vegetables and fruits, which Rafik sells in Sevan markets. For more than 20 years Rafik has engaged in the agricultural business. He breeds geese on his farm and confesses that his knowledge in engineering helped him to discover the secrets of poultry. He has more than 50 geese and takes care of them with great pleasure, and says he said he must be very patient and kind in order to understand the complexities of taking care of birds.

Rafik asks for a loan from Kiva lenders to repair the barn of his geese and to add the number of his birds on his farm.
