Knarik
Knarik is 52 years old. She lives with her son and mother-in-law in Zovaber village which is in Sevan area. Her daughter is married and lives with her family separately from Knarik. She has had a hard life and she had to work day and night in order to sustain her children.

For a long time Knarik used to work as a weaver in Sevan, but after Soviet Union's collapse she became jobless. Since 1990 Knarik is engaged in agricultural business. With her children she has built a large barn for animals and breeds cows and raises more than 15 sheep. Knarik also has plot of land near her house and grows potatoes and cucumber. The agricultural products; vegetables, meat, and dairy products are sold in Sevan food markets and she receives a good profit.

Nowadays Knarik is very happy and as she confessed, she is appreciated for her agricultural business and she is glad that she is able to meet her family's needs and help her children.

Knarik decided to enlarge her animal breeding business and to add to the number of her animals. She asks for a loan from Kiva to buy three calves and fodder for her animals. This is the first loan with Kiva for Knarik and she hopes to deserve Kiva lenders' support.
