A group of neighbors and friends formed the Communal Bank “Virgen del Carmen de Vizcochoni” in the community of Vizcochoni. This Communal Bank consists of several people who look at each moment as an opportunity to move forward. Through their daily efforts, they have been able to provide a better future for their children. The members engage in businesses such as agriculture, selling food, selling groceries, fattening cattle, making handicrafts, raising livestock, raising small animals, and other trades.


Aquelina, age 44, is a friendly and responsible person who has been able to move her family forward. She lives in the community of Vizcochoni, which is 20 minutes from the capital of the District of Huancarani. She engages in farming, selling food, and selling basic necessity products. Aquelina has been a member of her Communal Bank for many years and is taking this opportunity to request a loan so that she can buy sacks of rice and sugar in bulk since the prices are cheaper.


In general, the members are appreciative of the opportunity they have received and promise to complete their loan payments according to the established terms. The community of Vizcochoni is located in the District of Colquepata, which is in Paucartambo Province, Department of Cusco, Peru.

Un grupo de vecinos y amigos formaron el banco comunal “Virgen del Carmen de Vizcochoni” en la comunidad de Vizcochoni. Este banco comunal está conformado por varias personas que buscan a cada momento las oportunidades para salir adelante y con su esfuerzo diario entregar un mejor futuro a sus hijos. Los socios se dedican a la agricultura, a la venta de comida, a la venta de comestibles, al engorde de ganado, a la elaboración de artesanía, a la ganadería, a la crianza de animales menores y otros.

Aquelina tiene 44 años de edad y es una persona responsable y amable que saca adelante a su familia, ella vive en la comunidad de Vizcochoni a 20 minutos de la capital del distrito de Huancarani, ella se dedica a la agricultura, a la venta de comida, a la venta de productos de primera necesidad, ella desde hace varios años que participa en el banco comunal y en esta oportunidad Aquelina requiere el préstamo para comprar por mayor sacos de arroz y sacos de azúcar pues se sale más barato. Los socios en general agradecen la oportunidad brindada y se comprometen a cumplir con el pago de sus diferentes cuotas en los plazos establecidos.
