Leonel
Leonel is a young man who is originally from Piedras Negras, where he has been living for 34 years. He is a hardworking and responsible person. From a very young age, Leonel has had to work in order to contribute to the household expenses and support his unemployed mother and his six siblings since his father abandoned them many years ago.

Leonel quit his studies in architecture so that he could work full-time. Now he is only supporting his mother since his siblings are independent and have their own families. He is requesting assistance from Kiva so that he can begin remodeling the bathroom in his house, which has greatly deteriorated. Leonel wants to make this improvement so that his mother can have a better quality of life. He is grateful that she has instilled the values that have enabled him to grow up in life. This allowed him to obtain a job as a computer operator at a well-known company, where he has been employed for the past four years.
