Ana Isabel
Ana Isabel lives with her husband and children at the 10 ½ kilometer point on the Masaya highway. Her biggest dream is to be able to finish building her house. This way she will improve their living conditions.

She works as a merchant, like her husband. They split the household expenses between the two of them. The difficulty she faces is not being able to get together the money all at once. With the loan she has been granted she will buy materials like cement blocks, cement, sand, and iron, etc.

Ana Isabel is grateful for the support that Afodenic and the Kiva loan have given her.

About Housing Loans

Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
