Mohammad is a friendly and kind man. He’s from Lebanon and is 56 years old. He’s married to Nahida. They live together with two school-aged children. Since their marriage, Mohammad started to manage the family expenses and still does. And since he noticed that his income does not satisfy their needs, he decided to launch his clothing business with money he already had. He sells a wide variety of women's clothes and shoes from which he earns a fair amount of money daily. To better develop his work, he’s requesting a loan from Kiva Partner Vitas s.a.l. He will be using the loan to pay his children’s study fees. One of his greatest dreams is to see them achieve higher educational degrees. Mohammad wishes to open other branches soon and earn superior income
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
