Christine is 34 years old, married and has two children. She has a retail shop in Nairobi's Eastlands area. She sells polythene bags, matchboxes, and candles among other items. She has been in this business for eight years.
This is her second loan and she plans to buy more stock of polythene bags, matchboxes, toothpaste, shoe polish and tissue papers to sell. She will use the generated income to buy more stock.
She hopes to grow her business and open another retail shop as well as make more income and be able to pay school fees for her children.
